How Dogs Interpret What We Do… and Why It’s Important
Speaker: Colleen Pelar, CPDT-KA, CDBC; trainer, national speaker and award-winning author of Living With Kids and Dogs … Without Losing Your Mind(www.LivingWithKidsandDogs.com)
Saturday, Feb 27, 1:30 – 3:30pm
We all want our dogs to be happy companions, who love being with our children, neighbors and even strangers – no matter what. But often, our dogs are uncomfortable with what we see as friendly gestures. Tolerant dogs may not always enjoy the interaction, while less tolerant dogs may snap, growl or bite. Our speaker will help you see the world through your dog’s eyes. You will learn what we humans do that feels threatening to our dogs, the various ways dogs let us know, and how to advocate for your dog.
Please register in advance so we have enough handouts for everyone. Thanks!
