Agility Private Lesson and/or AKC ACT1 Testing

In-person at our Training Center in Rockville, MD

“I have come to trust Your Dog’s Friend as an authority on all things dog, and the all-positive training has been terrific. If I could give the place 6 stars, I would!”
 – P.B., Washington, DC

25-minute private agility lesson, open to all dogs, with or without prior experience.
If you have no experience
The instructor will introduce you and your dog to the jumps and tunnels and do some fun tricks that build your dog’s body awareness exercises.
If you have experience
The AKC Agility Course Test courses will be set up in the training center. Your private lesson will be on that course (includes jumps, tunnel, A-frame, and table).
If you’re ready to earn your dog’s first agility title, you can video your dog running the two ACT1 agility courses (Course Map C and Map D). Submit the videos of your runs to AKC (judging fees apply). If you get a qualifying score on both courses, AKC will send you a fancy certificate in the mail to celebrate your achievement.
Info & rules on ACT are here – https://www.akc.org/sports/agility/act-program/act-virtual-program/ – Dogs must be at least 15 months old to be eligible for ACT1. Mixed breeds are eligible, but must be spayed or neutered.
