Muddy Branch Veterinary Center, in Gaithersburg, MD, uses positive methods to reduce each pet’s stress when visiting the veterinarian. All three veterinarians and many of the vet techs are certified fear-free – meaning that they have passed eight different behavior modules and are concerned about the pet’s emotional, as well as physical, wellbeing – in the car, waiting area, exam rooms, and during procedures. The clinic sees dogs, cats and fish for routine care, acupuncture, and a variety of surgeries, as well as grooming and boarding.
