Adolescent Dog Class (Beginner Class)

In-Person Class

Note: Puppy Kindergarten grads, Adolescent is a beginner class. Check out Puppy 1st Grade instead, which is an intermediate class!

About this Class:

If your puppy is too old for Puppy Kindergarten then Adolescent Dog might be for you!   This is a beginner class for dogs up to 18 months where you will: start training your puppy in basic good manners (like sit, come, loose-leash walking, wait, leave it, attention, settle); learn how to deal with typical adolescent challenges; and practice training exercises, like “drop it” and handling, to help prevent future fear and aggression issues.

We use only positive methods – no choke, prong, or electronic collars. Training is fun for both you and your dog!

Instructors:

  • Sarah Stoycos (Laughing Dog Academy)
  • Joyce Loebig (Rewards Dog Training)
  • Melissa Dilla (Metropolitan Dog)
  • Kelly Burgdorf (Horses and Hounds Training)
