You and your dog passed the CGC! Take your skills to the next level with Advanced CGC (CGCA)!

After the CGC, there are two advanced levels, the Advanced CGC (CGCA) & Urban CGC (CGCU). Both have their own individual titles and test different real-world skills, and both are a great goal to have for you and your pup, working together in more distracting environments.

Take your dog’s CGC skills to the next level by teaching them skills in real-life settings. In this class, you’ll practice calling your dog past a distraction, walking through a real crowd, and even teaching them to “leave” food that may be found on a sidewalk. This class will meet in different locations. Learn and test practical skills in the real world, and have fun!

For the class and the test, dogs must be on a flat collar, martingale, or harness. No prong, choke, or ecollars allowed for the class or test.

Prerequisite for CGCA test: Have CGC title on record with the AKC. Don’t have a CGC title on record yet? Check out our CGC Prep class!

Note: This title is separate from the CGCU (Urban CGC) title.

Advanced CGC Prep will be followed by an Advanced CGC test, scheduled shortly after the class ends. To learn more about the Advanced Canine Good Citizen Certificate, please visit the AKC website.

Fee – $110: Three sessions, 60-minutes each
