Your Dog’s Friend is now offering both online and in-person Basic Manners classes. For in-person classes:
- Masks must be worn at all times
- Only one family member per dog
- Please review additional COVID-19 policies here

About this Class:
Your dog wants to spend time with you. You want a well-mannered companion. In this class, you both win! Over the course of six weeks, you will be building skills, improving overall behavior, and bonding with your dog as a team. You will help your dog learn skills like sit, down, loose leash walking (There’s a human at the other end of the leash?), stay, wait, leave it, come when called, targeting, and, most important, how to pay attention. We will show you what motivates your dog and how to communicate with him. By the last class, you may even be able to speak “Doglish” as a second language. Basic Manners is also a stepping stone to many of our other classes.
If your puppy is under 6 months, please check out our Puppy classes, tailored for your young puppy!
We will be using Zoom for our online Basic Manners classes.
