About this Class:
This class focuses on teaching dogs the fundamentals of scent work and searching. Most training and sports focus on activities and skills that dogs need to learn, while using scent to find food, toys, and other objects is one of a dog’s most natural behaviors. Each session focuses on teaching fun, confidence building skills to dogs and their people, almost all of which can also easily be done at home or outside with little or no cost for equipment. The dogs are separated and work one at a time in class. So, this can be a terrific confidence builder and bonding experience for newly adopted, reactive, or otherwise sensitive dogs and their people. This is not a class for people interested in Nose Work competition.
