About this Class:
This is a Special Puppy Socialization and Enrichment Event, great to do in conjunction with your puppy classes and Puppy Parties!
Introducing your puppy to novel items and experiences is a key part of their development. Providing them with positive, early exposure to new things helps build their confidence. We’ll introduce your puppy to novel equipment at their pace. Giving your puppy positive experiences with fun new things helps them become confident and well-adjusted dogs.
Unlike Puppy Party, there won’t be puppy play with other puppies. Play with other puppies is just one small part of the whole picture of socialization. The goal of socialization is to introduce your puppy pleasantly to the world around them, at their own pace.
In your one-on-one guided session, we’ll give your puppy a chance to explore equipment and items they might not otherwise have the chance to experience. We’ll do age-appropriate introductions to agility equipment like a shortened version of the dog walk, the tire, going through jump bars, and several mini tunnels! Puppies will be able to explore wobbly discs, a ball-filled pool, the hall of streamers, and walking on all sorts of different surfaces. Learn how to properly introduce your puppy to things that may make them unsure and help them gain confidence.
For puppies 8 weeks to 6 months of age, or with the instructor’s permission.
Please only sign up for 1 time slot per puppy.
