Leash Walking

Reduce the pulling and increase the enjoyment for you and your dog

Transform your walks into more enjoyable outings for both you and your dog! You will learn important leash handling skills, techniques to improve your pup’s focus on you, force-free ways to reduce pulling, and strategies to help you effectively navigate neighborhood challenges.  Working in partnership with your dog, learn how to meet their needs for sniffing, exploring, and exercise, while also giving yourself a more pleasant, struggle-free walk with your pup.

Age range: 6 months and older

Prerequisites: Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Skills for Adult & Adolescent Dogs (formerly Basic Manners or Adolescent Dog), or another positive class with the instructor’s permission.

Class length: 4 consecutive weeks (not including holidays). 60 minutes each. Make-up classes are not possible.
