Separation Anxiety
Solutions & support for separation stress (Live, online class, via Zoom)
Separation anxiety is a condition that causes dogs to feel extreme stress or panic when left alone. Constant barking or vocalizing, destructive chewing, scratching at exits, drooling, panting, pacing, or worse, when left alone, can all be symptoms of your dog’s distress. Learn more about the complex nature of separation anxiety while practicing effective strategies and techniques to reduce your dog’s stress. With individualized coaching and support from the instructor, you will develop a tailored plan to help your dog feel more comfortable when home alone.
Before your first session, your instructor will send you log-in information and tips on how to prepare for the class.
Note: We do not expect your dog’s separation anxiety to be resolved by the end of the class period, as this is a complex issue and it will take time for your dog to overcome their fear of separation.
