Puppy 1st Grade
Train through the transition to adolescence
Puppy 1st Grade builds on the skills learned in Puppy Kindergarten as your dog moves into adolescence. Adolescent puppies have changing needs as they grow and this class will help you understand, manage, and train during that transition. Using training games that are effective and fun, you will learn how to strengthen the connection between you and your pup, practice techniques to help your puppy to relax, and improve leash walking skills, all around increased distractions. The result is improved behavior, a calmer puppy, and a better partnership with your dog.
Age range: For puppies up to one year
Prerequisites: Puppy Kindergarten or Basic Skills for Adolescent & Adult Dogs (formerly Basic Manners or Adolescent Dog)
