Your Dog’s Friend is now offering in-person Out & About classes.
- Masks must be worn at all times
- Only one family member per dog
- Please review additional COVID-19 policies here
About this Class:
This class will take what you learned in previous training classes out into the real world. The first class will be a brief review of the skills you’ll need outside. In each subsequent class, you will walk your dog in outdoor settings with increasing distractions. You and your dog must have already worked on loose-leash walking. No choke, prong or electronic collars will be permitted. This class is not for dogs with severe shyness or reactivity issues. If you have questions about whether this class is appropriate for your dog, please contact the instructor before registering. Generally, students from Leash Manners and Basic Manners I & II will find this to be a natural next step in their dog’s (and their own) training.
Prerequisite: Our Puppy K, Basic, or Adolescent class or instructor’s permission.
Fee: $130 for four weeks
